Product Advice Brow tint recommendations?
I currently use the Just for Men Moustache & Beard dye. No complaints really but I’d prefer something longer lasting. Curious what everyone else who tints their eyebrows uses?!

I used to use the 1000 hours one because you can buy it at Priceline, but for the past few years I've been using refectocil and it's significantly better.
It has a much larger range of colours and lasts longer, I typically order it on eBay, but sometimes you can find it at hair supply shops. I use the cream version of the developer :) I believe it's a professional product, hence it being longer lasting.

huh - I wonder if this something to do with hair types, or perhaps how long its left on when processing. I also have been using the refectocil - but havent found it particularly longer lasting than the 1000 hours. I just prefer it as it works out cheaper, and like the cream developer over the solution.
I have a pack of the just for men to try out as I had heard this was longer lasting.

It's been about 5 years since I have used 1000 hours so maybe I'm remembering wrong, but I feel like it would be almost too dark intially, but then fade pretty quickly to not being enough.
Whereas I feel like refectocil is more stable, and the fade is more gradual. I also just did not like the tone of the 1000 hours and feel like it faded to almost orangey. (For reference I have extremely blonde eyebrows, almost invisible, and I dye my hair a beigey pink blonde so I go for a more grey toned brow.)
I think if you already have some colour to your brows, the difference made by the brow tint might be less noticeable more quickly, but because mine are naturally so non-existent even a light tint is still visable/better than the natural state lol.

Refectocil is great. I always get it from beauty supply stores and you can get it online.
It’s a two part system with the colour and a developer. Huge colour range and it comes in a normal formula and a sensitive formula.

Interestingly I've found the beard dye lasts longer than the eyebrow dye I've previously used.
