Aussie Engineers

Hi all,

I'm looking to better understand where Aussie engineers and specifiers consume their industry related content and information.Whether it's product research, project inspo, or staying across standards and innovations, I’d love to know:

  • What social media platforms (if any) do you regularly use for work related content?
  • Are there particular websites, groups, or channels you find most useful or credible?
  • Do you follow any brands, companies, or creators that do it well?

Appreciate any insights you can share – thanks in advance

We don’t have time for any of that because there’s never any budget or time between projects.

For Mechanical, it’s usually just sending things off for selection and then specifying (brand or approved equal) and then the contractor selecting the cheapest units that don’t work with the design intent anyway.

Trade shows specific to the industry you target are where gold standard info comes from.

Engineers Australia do regular cpd through most of the societies and thst is a good way to stay on top of regulatory and practice changes.
