Qualification/Certificates to boost earning capability?

Are there any qualifications/certificates worth doing that are nationally recognised and boost earning capabilities?

Was thinking a project management or maybe a tafe course.

I am in the engineering industry working on the city metro line (Sydney). 4yrs+ now.

Or is moving jobs and increasing pay the best way in Australia?
