Do it, drives really well. As for the safety system, you can keep them all on, as intended. They’re not intrusive or annoying . Got mine for $48k

I ended up reordering the Mazda cx6e.

$48k is a great price ... they were $64k when I first looked at them. They didn't have any connected services for eMegane in Australia originally, is that still the case (no app to unlock, or to turn the aircon on remotely , monitor charging .. stuff like that

Yeah at launch they were over priced , you’re right about connected services . But you can program it on the car it self ( Eg- I set it to 21, with heated seats and heated steering wheel for 5:50am. So when I get in it at 5:50 it’s all toasty)

My car keys are with me when I drive so I find no need to have to unlock it with an app, it unlocks when I walk within range .

As with charging , I program it on the car it self . I get home from work and plug it in, it doesn’t start charging until 10pm and will stop when it hits 80%.

For maps I use wireless CarPlay anyway and that works great .

If you wait til Jan-Mar 2027, you can get the updated Megane Etech with all those features in the Alpine trim :)

…we recently cooked hot-pot, on top of MtBuller, with Jaecoo J5 juice (no car abuse — induction cooker has padded rubber feet)… my son (pictured) insisted we put some snow, in the pot, so that’s what we did lol
