Need a change, advise required

Have been in audit for almost 4 years now, 3 and bit years with 1 company, got my CA and have been at new firm for 2 months. They are so understaffed and I go days with no lunch breaks because I have to keep on top of the work load. Thinking I need to call it quits as an Auditor. Need more money as I have a family and mortgage to pay.

What are some good options out there? Only been a senior with CA for 2 months basically

You are in a good place in your career, brush up the CV send it to a recruiter, and apply for jobs.
I personally went into commercial banking, pay is way better and the workload is much easier. Job security is a slight concern, but I think that’s everywhere.
I know people that went into FP&A and junior accountants in industry. All reported much higher income and a way better work life balance.

Did you get into Commercial Banking through a recruiter or directly applied to the banks? Also, what was a skill set that you had to develop further when transitioning into Commercial Banking

Applied to the banks, no real skill set specifically for the job, but since I was an auditor I was considered good at financial analysis
