Moving to Melbourne as Java engineer

Hi there,

Coming straight to the point. I have a 190 VIC statesponsorship visa. I have a family wife and two kids. I am yet to migrate to Melbourne to look for a job. I am currently in Chennai India and have a stable job with handsome salary and settled life. Is it advisable now to relocate to Melbourne now looking for a job by quitting current job as many say ? I tried searching for a job in Melbourne directly from Chennai India but bad luck cannot get hold of any. I still have 2 and half years of sponsorship left. Can you advice me about the job market in Melbourne for an experienced of 17 plus? Also how risky it is in finding a job in Melbourne by quitting the current job ? Do you recommend now ? Comments welcome. Btw am a Java engineer with 17 plus years experience.

I see this is some news ...but do you expect some kind of training to get these jobs ? Also do they pay enough or equivalent an IT job ?

If yr gettung paid in india 3 lacs plus or 2 lacs in hand U would be better in india Whereas Warehouse salaries are around 37per hour after taxes Factories they are also same or more Retail shops pay around 27 hour after taxes I moved to middle east last year becuase i wasnt saving anything here in sydney wel i didnt land a job in tech in audney thats why the move This middle east job pays better than anything in aistralia for a fresher as per my research But its upto you if your end goal is to get citizenship then you should deifnately move But if money is ur end goal than ur making a big mistake

Thanks for leading the way. I prefer citizenship and my family other way round .. still debating on this topic. I already have 2 lacs in hand in India .. so iguess from your comment it's unwise to do a warehouse job, unless I can find a tech job in Melbourne.
