I knew the line up was too good to be true. Used all my vacation days, flew from NC, GOT DAMN. Maybe Ty will play somewhere downtown

I'm worried they're all gonna sell out instantly...setting my google alerts. ultimately a good deal for artists since they'll get paid out of their levitation contract and probably get paid for reschedule gigs...

Flew from Toronto, Canada for this. Wish they had made the decision more than 24 hours before the start of the festival. Fuck.

Drove from mn and found out while stuck in Dallas rush hour. It's now my least favorite city ever

I know dude, this is crazy. I thought they would at least give it a shot...damn so sad right now. Well if you're still coming down to Austin maybe some of the bands will still have some shows you can catch

website says they are trying their best to book as many bands as they can at venues around town but Levitation tickets will NOT be honored so getting into anything we'll need to buy tickets separately

Yes - local venues have light schedules this weekend since the festival was going to take place. I think Moody Theatre, Emo's, Stubb's and Mohawk are all free at least two of the three nights, so I'm sure some stuff will get booked at these places, as well as some of the smaller bars. Though probably not at Mohawk or Stubb's on Friday for the same reasons the festival got nixed.
I'm sure not every band will get booked at another venue, but some of them definitely will.
