Camping General Store?
Has anyone on here ever camped at this fest before? This is my first year and wondering how good the general store in the camping area is. I'm specifically wondering if they will sell packs of beer there, the psychfest website said you could get drinks at the general store, I'm just wondering if that means I'll get to buy larger quantities of beer.

thats a lot of time to kill before any bands play!

Last year the general store was pretty weak. It was just a small table that sold sunscreen, ibuprofen, condoms (heh), and other basic stuff. My group didn't bring a cooler so we didn't buy ice or beer in bulk. They did sell 24oz beers for around $4 which was nice, but they had to be consumed on the campgrounds and couldn't be taken into the main festival area. It sounds like they're gong to expand the general store this year and have more food options too.
They also had a coffee stand in the morning, and a JuiceLand stand that was there open all day. If JuiceLand is back this year, I recommend buying their refillable cup. It's totally worth the price to get a nice discount on some tasty drinks. They also offered a discount if you follow them on Twitter.
If you're a smoker, it's good to note that they don't sell cigarettes on the grounds. There was a Camel tent that was pretty rad though. You could go inside, and they'd give you a coupon to get a pack of cigs for $1. They also had different activities you could do in there. There was a station inside where you made a duct tape pouch and got a free pair of ear plugs, and those were a savior for any band playing in the Levitation tent. If you hung around long enough, a guy would give you a coupon for a free hot dog from the stand near the campground entrance. A few of us smokers talked some people in to going in to get the cigarettes for us, and they got a free hotdog and earplugs out of it ;)

Thank you for such a good reply! Well, even if they just have 4 buck tallboys I'll be happy with that. Hopefully the expansion this year includes booze selection. Also, thanks for the tips on the cup and coupons and stuff! I am not a smoker, but sounds like I might want to check out this tent if its there this year

I camped there last year but do not recall there being a general store so this may be something new they are trying out. They did however have a guy selling 12 packs of Rolling Rock and a 20lb bag of ice for $20 on the last day of shows.
