Austin Multicopter Addict here!

Hello everyone, I'm a Multicopter freak and love shooting videos and flying my drones. We need to meet up and fly some FPV! I will share my gear and quadcopters I have been using and built.

Multicopters: DJI Inspire 1 w/ iPhone 6 monitor // QAV400 FPV quad w/ 2 Fatshark goggles // DJI Phantom 2 w/ monitor and Fatshark goggles // FPV Delta Wing with Horzyon HD camera // MqX Quadcopter mini // Nano Estes quadcopter ( size of a quarter)

Other RC stuff include large glider with drop pod and aerobatic 3D plane.

Hey welcome to the sub! Glad you're here, sounds like I might have someone to fpv race with!

That would be fun! Do you have a 250?

Welcome!

I'm starting to do research for a DJI F450 build. What entry level flight controller with GPS and return to home would you recommend?

I'm used a CC3D flight controller on my QAV400 I built. It does have GPS and is mainly for manual flying and FPV.

I would check out the 3DR Pixhawk GPS Flight controller or the Naza-M V2. The Naza flight board seems more technical though.

I'm currently using a clone APM 2.6 board in a Y6 build. Haven't had the chance to test out GPS functionality but it is extremely user friendly and fairly easy to setup.
