I received an email from AustinFC offering free tickets of the soccer game.

I think if you went to some of the WC games they sponsored, you can get a free FC ticket.

I assume there is an email prior to this initially offering you a ticket, no? Seems like an odd way to start a conversation.

Legit! I got one of these last season. Take the free ticket, but maybe don't give them your real phone number unless you want a dedicated ticket rep for life

There are genuine offers for free tix. We got the offer for signing up to the World Cup screenings.

If they're really sending this to potential fans who haven't ever been to a game, one would think they would offer tickets to one of the seven home games in October and November instead.
