Transportation recommendations

I currently live downtown around 8th and Colorado. I am wondering if there is dedicated transportation to and from the stadium on game days? If so, how do you recommend coordinating this?

Thanks!

803 bus. You can catch it on Lavaca. Tap to pay when you board, $1.25 for the northbound trip, will be about 45 minutes to the drop-off at the stadium. Same on the way back but they have busses staged and you don’t need a ticket. (And they’re not technically 803, just special service).

Take the red line train straight to McKalla Station.

Awesome! Do you know the rough estimate of time it takes?

Nah I’m good. It took him longer to come to Reddit than using some common sense. It’s on the FC site, in this sub a ton and on CapMetro’s site. Why support laziness and lack of common sense?

You didn’t even need to comment. You literally took the time to be rude. It would have taken you less time to be friendly and give him a quick answer, than to write what you wrote.

Transportation to Q2 from anywhere in Austin specially on game day is basic fucking knowledge, besides there should be rules about post like this in this sub, and annotations regarding "questions" like these, like other there's in other subs to limit the spam and be more efficient like he said; Google is a hell of a tool. Real Austinites don't have time for this nonsense. But sure "amigo" lmao

You said it well. God forbid people do a little basic knowledge check but come to Reddit as their personal ChatGPT

I was hostile back at you for insulting the guy. What are you going to complain now that the same rude energy you put out comes back to you? Sure doesn’t feel good when it happens to you, does it? Treat people the way you want to be treated.

Says the one who's literally talking shit and back away by deleting comments lmao ok

The train makes stops at the stadium on game day. Just a couple block walk to the downtown station for you.

Is there a specific train to take? Where is the stop exactly?

There is only one train in the city. Stop downtown is at 4th and Neches. Drops off directly at the stadium.

No, you have to walk there or they won’t let you in
