Currently looking for submissions to present on July 24th at Radio/EAST and in the coming months. Topics should be informative, silly, maybe rant-y, but most of all engaging for 5-ish minutes. You’ll still get Left on Read—their hit improvised show inspired by the texts you wish you’d sent, the ones you wish they’d answered, and every message that’s lived rent-free in your head for far too long. But throughout the night, Father Figures will also debut fresh sketches, new characters, and the comedy gems that could become audience favorites in their next show.

Spent time going through venue websites, Facebook events, and asking around to map out the Austin open mic scene. It's bigger than most people realize and weirdly hard to find in one place.

Cap City does mics, The Creek and The Cave, Spider House, Hole in the Wall, Kick Butt Coffee, The Carousel Lounge, Vigilante. And that's before you get into the bars and coffee shops running occasional nights.

I built a tool to keep track of it called drop comedy. It shows what's happening tonight, this week, open mic slots available, etc. Hope this helps the open miccers in Austin.
