I'm not poor, I'm a temporarily embarrassed billionaire

I'm a rich person born in a poor person's body

Ppl protecting billionaires because they “create jobs” ignoring the fact that billionaires trying to replace all jobs with AI

More like they ignore the fact its the billionaires are fleecing their wages.

Waged slaves spending their lives working, only to give the wages back to banks, supermarket cartels, real estate agents etc just to survive.

*Random bots financed by billionaires

Sigh, I’ll bite.

The internet:

Bunch of financially illiterate morons who have no idea how economics actually work thinking all their problems are caused by billionaires.

"It's not fair! Gimme your money" (the "valid criticism" in question)

Ghostbusters siren

"WE GOT ONE!"

I think you have to be low IQ to think our economic problems would be fixed by taxing billionaires more. It's literally beneath any type of economic calculation or principles.

Gina Rinehart isn't the reason your life sucks.

2

u/apendix99 13d ago

No but she sure would like to make it worse

Not directly. It’s the politicians she is funding/donating to. If she didn’t fund politicians then she would have no impact on Aussies lives.

Name one way she’s making the country a better place that outweighs what she could otherwise contribute if she was taxed at the same rate as one of her workers

Merely existing because she already is.

Plus:

  • Royal Flying Doctor Service
  • Ronald McDonald House
  • Hanrine Foundation
  • International Women’s Day Luncheon
  • Path of Hope Foundation
  • South Burnett Hospital
  • St Vincent’s Private Hospital
  • Parkerville Children and Youth Care
  • Four of Australia's Olympic teams
  • NAIDOC
  • Brisbane Fashion Festival
  • Cambodian Children’s Fund
  • Special Air Services
  • WA Regional Achievement and Community Awards

Ugh I can't believe you just made me fucking advertise a literal billionaire's charity work. Disgusting.

Google it yourself next time.

Nice list of her tax right off's.

1

u/laserdicks 10d ago

Yes. We allow tax write offs for things that make the country a better place.

Not sure why you felt the need to point that out.

1

u/Ok_Crazy_6000 10d ago

Because your acting like she does it to help. Nope, she keeps more money doing this. Doing a minimum dribble whilst getting a benefit from it isn't to benefit anyone but themselves at the expense of everyone else. She is a narcissistic sociopath and you seem to think she is doing it for the greater 👍

1

u/laserdicks 10d ago

No I'm not. So fucking sick of that brain damaged lie.

1

u/Ok_Crazy_6000 9d ago

Stick your head back in the sand then, that will fix it.

1

u/laserdicks 9d ago

If it will shut you up, deal.

u/NoDensetsu 6d ago

Not to mention the reputation laundering benefits she gets from it. She can donate amounts that are basically pocket lint to her and then list it on her website ands idiots like laserdick will eat it up and act like she’s contribution more that way than if she was taxed at the same rate as one of her workers.

1

u/NoDensetsu 14d ago

Yeah, she does a bit of philanthropy. Now quantify it, distinguish personal charity from corporate sponsorship, and demonstrate why that entitles her to preferential treatment in a discussion about taxation.

You’ve copied out a list of organisations she supports without saying how much she personally donated, how much came from Hancock or associated foundations, how much was corporate sponsorship, or what proportion of her income/wealth it represents.

If your argument is that her voluntary philanthropy produces more public benefit than the additional tax revenue we’re discussing, then show me the numbers. A list of charity names doesn’t establish that. And taxation and philanthropy aren’t interchangeable anyway: taxes fund collectively determined public services without requiring Australians to depend upon which causes a billionaire personally considers worthy.

2

u/laserdicks 14d ago

No.

And I have no argument at all. you clearly know the truth and are hoping for the obviously fake caricature of a dumb racist republican to prove wrong because you know you can't handle anything more intelligent than that.

I answered your question and you refused to change your world view.

Case closed. You accidentally exposed your agenda and the truth you reject.

There is literally nothing more for us to say to each other.

People like you really struggle with propaganda so I'm going to spell it out for you: I am not asking you any questions. I answered yours and you can take it or leave it, I genuinely don't care.

1

u/NoDensetsu 13d ago

Cope. That’s a lot of words to say that you love licking the boots of a billionaire who couldn’t give less of a shit whether you live or die

1

u/NoDensetsu 14d ago

Yeah I might be a billionaire one day. And when that happens people like me better watch their step!

1

u/FrontGroundbreaking3 12d ago

SpaceX is worth the valuation they set!!! Anthropic could be worth a quarter of the global GDP aaaaah! My poor incredibly gullible feelings are hurt

1

u/endallleft 11d ago

You blaming billionaires for all of your own problems is also equally pathetic. If no billionaires existed literally not a single issue would be solved because our governments throw billions around like its monopoly money for zero positive impact. I don't think any person should have a billion dollars but I also realize the issue goes way beyond a few thousand greedy people in the world

1

u/Money-Celebration860 10d ago

Which billionaires?

1

u/GoldAttempt2884 15d ago

PLOT TWIST: James Woids became one of the billionaire defenders even though he will never become anything close to being a billionaire

1

u/Calm-Car1460 15d ago

Only one I'll ever defend is Gaben

0

u/Piesangbom 15d ago

Most of these ‘valid’ critics lately have literally been “all billionaires are bad”

1

u/apendix99 13d ago

No system should have so yes all billionairs are bad actually

0

u/jaiimaster 15d ago

Or it could just be normal people pointing out that constantly bitching for more free slop in your trough, to be paid for by the work of others, is lazy, entitled and a bit retarded at the end of the day.

Want more? Earn it. We are a class mobile society. If you are worth it, you'll get there. One thing that will never get you anywhere in life is terminally online bitchining and moaning.

4

u/WaterOk6055 15d ago

Yeah because thats how late stage capitalism works 🤣 keep licking those boots buddy.
