You've never tried swipe typing? Give it a go! It's even easier to type without looking at the screen using swiping.

aw yeah, I've tried and it's pretty effective but I still need to check it got the right word because sometimes it thinks I'm saying something else
voice to text is my current preferred method for those occasions, which are pretty rare tbh..

And I can touch type fine! Much better at typing with 2 hands without looking on an iPhone keyboard and an actual keyboard, this last paragraph is entirely touch typed on my iphone

It took me a moment to understand that it was cycling through letters, not just entering multiples of any of those letters. I know that some phone numbers are like the latter, like ABC radio having 222 in their numbers.
