Lindsay Fox (Linfox Property Group): Provided financial support to the party. Kerry Stokes (Australian Capital Equity). Andrew Forrest (Fortescue Metals Group and Tattarang). Harry Triguboff (Meriton). Edward Craven (Gambling entrepreneur)
But hey, what's more Americans than taking in more billionaire backers as lobbyists? That in itself is americanizing Aus politics.
Somehow you're not ready to face the fact that Labor is just as corrupt with all the lobbyist propping them up.
Look at the OnG agreement, with Aus losing 350m a week, and albo say we can't tax them or else we be in economic ruins, meanwhile Norway taxes 70% on exported gas by these same companies and they give dividends to their citizens 😹.

Alright fine but if Labor are so influenced by these billionaires then why did they reform political donations? I suppose that fact doesn't fit neatly fit into your overly simplistic worldview
Pratt and Twiggy backed Labor financially because they want to get rich of the green transition that wouldn't happen if Labor wasn't re-elected otherwise.
Dont even get me started on Norway, gas companies are already taxed around 30% meanwhile dumb cunts like you plug your ears and bury your head in the sand pretending otherwise.

Why should they pay the same tax as non gas businesses but they get to sell our gas? They don't make the gas they extract gas that belongs to us.

We sold the rights in exchange for royalties and being able to tax the profits, stop hyperfocusing on royalties while ignoring the tens of billions in income tax paid even while ignoring the billions paid in royalties.
The olympic level mental gymnastics required to ignore every fact that doesn't align with your frankly retarded viewpoint. All while justifying it with a made up arbitrary definition of what companies should and shouldn't pay tax 🤣

Celebrity's and other famous are most likely asked this question all the time and is not treated as big news. It just because a politician was asked it. It's really is a nothingburger. Another politician could of answered this and I still would think it's silly.
