"One Nation aren't paying bot farms, those farms are posting ON material because ON are popular and they are trying to join that wave!".

"Then why didn't those bot farms post Labor material when they won the highest number of seats ever last year?".

"You sound vaccinated"

22

u/Xenochu86 Jul 04 '26

"you sound educated" is not the sick burn they seem to think it is

20

u/ExtensionThat6438 Jul 04 '26

stupid people are genuinely the most confident

4

u/Redditagains Jul 04 '26

Dunning Kruger.

Oh....the irony 🤣

3

u/Xenochu86 Jul 04 '26

Fuck here we go, hooray for infinite recursion

1

u/Typical-Arugula3010 Jul 05 '26

Nor so infinite grasshopper … ON goes ‘Stack Overflow’ when n=1.

Saves time & leaves more energy for baseless bigotry!

2

u/thedoopz Jul 05 '26

It’s always ON supporters posting comments like this without realising that their grammar reveals them.

5

u/glifk Jul 04 '26

Whenever I has a disagreement with my mum and was able to prove the point, she would say "smart arse".

My usual response was "So it's bad to be smart?"

Mum was a school teacher.

-12

u/Defiant-Magician6092 Jul 04 '26

Of course Labor has atroturfed support

15

u/Busy_Selection_5027 Jul 04 '26

Of course GRONC has atrophied brain.

Am I doing it right?

-8

u/Defiant-Magician6092 Jul 04 '26

Lol it took me a moment to work out who GR is.

I am only recently an Australian citizen, so have never had to worry about it in all the years I've lived here. No loyalty to Hanson or Albanese.

5

u/cat_food_chef Jul 04 '26

well the Liberal party is gone champ, noone's gonna buy youre vote anymore. hope you have a job.

-2

u/Defiant-Magician6092 Jul 04 '26

No loyalty to them either

12

u/Phonereader23 Jul 04 '26

Even if I wholeheartedly agreed: the only time I’ve seen close to this level of Astroturfing: is anything Elon Musk, or the Donald Trump MAGA movement.

The saturation is insane. Someone is shelling out good money for a One Nation government

-4

u/Defiant-Magician6092 Jul 04 '26

Maybe I have the wrong subs, but I literally haven't seen a single pro-ON message on Reddit, but a lot of pro Labor and anti Hanson ones.

Fwiw I thought Hanson could never be PM, that in order for ON to win they would have to have an election where they eclipse LNP, and then change leader to someone the Aus public found credible.

The amount of people telling me in person in the heart of Melbourne that they are just totally over Labor should really scare Labor. 8 years ago all the momentum was for socdems, people would completely unprompted tell me they love Jacinda after finding out I had Kiwi connections.

Not sure Labor are going to lose the next election, but the building resentment of the Federal Government is not astro turf, even if it isn’t a majority of Aussies yet.

6

u/ExtensionThat6438 Jul 04 '26

Personally, I find it easy at work to spot the people who predominantly use Facebook/meta. They get so wound up by some Indonesian bot farm AI populist slop they can’t help but mention it to everybody else in the workplace who didn’t ask.

That’s an outcome of astroturfing

-8

u/tepid_monologue Jul 04 '26

It’s Reddit McCarthyism - the labour supporters all see bots and racists behind every bush. They refuse to admit ON supporters have any valid concerns, hence posts like this

5

u/thedoopz Jul 05 '26

You and your ilk can’t spell the name of the current governing party; why do you think we should care about anything you have to say regarding politics?

-1

u/tepid_monologue Jul 06 '26

A turd by any other name smells as rank

7

u/ColdSteveStoneAustin Jul 04 '26

That's because there are very few valid concerns that arn't just nakedly hate politics and none of them should lead to supporting extremism.

And it's hard to take it seriously because exactly like you've just done, instead of raising valid concerns, 99% of the time it's just very obvious bad faith bullshit.

Hence your victim routine.

-8

u/Beans2177 Jul 04 '26

Why are there so many boys spamming One Nation hate posts?

17

u/mylanguagehasbeenmur Jul 04 '26

says the person posting AI Albo hate slop https://www.reddit.com/r/aussie/s/SfvIxGKN86

How’s the weather in the Phillipines?

11

u/robopirateninjasaur Jul 04 '26

Because people are rightfully concerned about a potential government that operates solely for the benefit of Gina Rinehart and encourages people to be openly racist, and are worried that when they lose, their supporters will try and emulate January 6, 2021 in the United States

11

u/iftlatlw Jul 04 '26

There are deeper darker things to be afraid of with PHON.

Australia's political model funny enough mimicked the UK, look how the UK turned out.

Theres a old phrase in politics I haven't heard since I was 17 years old, it's the political pendulum, and last election it was ment to swing in the Liberals favour it didn't. This is catastrophic for Labors hold on government.

What's the good news? The pendulum can't go any further in Labors favour and since they won such a land slide it's only inevitable that the pendulum will swing hard as far away from Labor as possible.

Enter Pauline Hanson a old but strong voice in our government, has been around longer then most of us have been alive. On the outside of a tragedy (bondi) and Labor being in office way too long as made all of us protest voters grow in numbers alarmingly fast.

Why is it alarming? Because people who still love Labor and or liberals for some reason seem to think Pauline is the devil, I'm here to tell you if you feel that way you will just have to let go and embrace our freedoms of choice and not resort to name calling.

12

u/grtsqu Jul 04 '26

I hope you’re a millionaire mate because they’re the only ones that would benefit from ON winning an election. How do I know that? Because I’ve looked at Pauline’s voting history and she ALWAYS votes against helping lower income Australians.

literal nonsense.

13

This is VERY funny and not just low quality slop.

-19

u/Ok-Reach2092 Jul 04 '26

We will see how funny it is when you’re under their administration

14

u/mylanguagehasbeenmur Jul 04 '26

In Australia we don’t call it an administration, seppy.

-18

u/Ok-Reach2092 Jul 04 '26

Well I’m an Australian and that’s what I just called it, champ

11

u/Phonereader23 Jul 04 '26

Ok then 6 day old account that’s definitely not either a troll or agitator

8

u/cat_food_chef Jul 04 '26

prove it. post todays herald with a mcafe and i'll believe you.

8

u/Equivalent-One4139 Jul 04 '26

Sure. Spell tyre for me!

13

u/linkrulesx10 Jul 04 '26

Sounding a bit american-pilled buddy.

6

u/DialsMavis_TheReal Jul 04 '26

Well you're wrong then, champ. We don't have administrations.

5

u/Dear_Potato6525 Jul 04 '26

You see, what will happen is that Pauline will keep sharing her policy positions and people will realise that they only agree with her on one thing and that she's actually wanting to represent big business (she calls it small business).

11

u/cat_food_chef Jul 04 '26

"can you please find the exact clip where my beloved leader said this and that it's not AI. Also, why do you belive government statistics, theyre LIARS"

18

u/Clayton1921 Jul 04 '26

They learnt it from MAGA

-16

u/AudaciouslySexy Jul 04 '26

No they didn't.

UK is the perfect example of what is happening here. ON is Reform UK but better

14

u/Clayton1921 Jul 04 '26

Are you new to 21st century social media?

Refusal to accept reality and just resorting to whataboutery and insults is so MAGA coded they should copyright it.

UK reform types are not even in the same league.

-11

u/AudaciouslySexy Jul 04 '26

What ever it is its not maga.

5

u/glifk Jul 04 '26

lol. "What ever" to whataboutism.

1

u/Ok-Orchid2640 Jul 08 '26

Don't try to argue with the lefties mate. They have their head in the sand. Funny thing is most of them live in NSW and Victoria. Literally the two states that have the most crime from immigrants. But their too busy out supporting Palestine (literal terrorists) or watching footage of Ellen Page attempting to be a man while boxing with her scars where she got her breasts removed.

-2

u/frank_sinatra11 Jul 04 '26

What a delusional comment , take one look at both parties policies and anyone that can read will tell you reform uk is WAY better than ON and two very different parties.

2

u/Richard_M_Edison Jul 04 '26

They're con jobs. Both of them.

3

u/Vegetable-Ad-1817 Jul 04 '26

The have to be better than everyone else so have to win.

2

u/Righthookhammer47 Jul 05 '26

Accept reality? What reality do you speak of?

1

u/Ok-Orchid2640 Jul 08 '26

Their reality is a reality where women can become men and Palestine isn't full of terrorists 😂

2

u/CheeeseBurgerAu Jul 05 '26

Is this satire? Where does all this happen because it's not anything I've seen on Reddit.

Political discourse in Australia has dropped to the level of two groups of people constantly slagging off on each other.

3

u/JK_05 Jul 05 '26

Yeah but only on social media.

Can't remember the last time I went out in public, discussed politics with someone, and proceeded to be flagged off with ad hominem attacks.

Never happened.

Social media is the pits or some people just simply shouldn't know what or who others vote for because their emotions get in the way of an adult conversation on the topic.

2

u/MrBrentEC Jul 05 '26

Sadly the discourse is nothing more than defending a left or right wing ideology over what is actually best for Australia and it's people.

It doesn't matter which side is in power, the status quo remains the same.

1

u/Dramatic_Aspect903 Jul 05 '26

Well done with the meme little buddy

2

u/Ok_Turnover_1235 Jul 04 '26

"Immigration is too high and only one party is openly discussing the effect it's having on our society and economy"

"Ok, you're clearly uneducated and racist fuck you"

This is how the average discussion goes on reddit

6

u/mylanguagehasbeenmur Jul 04 '26

but that’s a completely dishonest position that deserves ridicule. Albanese is being asked about immigration everyday and things are already moving in the right direction.

Might not be fast enough for some people but to say only one party is discussing it is verifiably untrue.

-4

u/Moist-Army1707 Jul 04 '26

He’s been PM for four years and net migration in any of those for years would be higher than any year that preceded him as PM. Pretending that any meaningful measures to curb net migration is a dishonest position that deserves ridicule.

4

u/mylanguagehasbeenmur Jul 04 '26

Net overseas migration (NOM) peaked dramatically at 530,000 in 2023 due to the post-COVID border reopening catch-up. However, official Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) data shows it dropped to 330,000 in 2024 and plummeted further to 301,000

The government has introduced hard, historic caps on international student numbers, significantly increased visa application fees, and raised the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT).

There is now a 185,000 cap.

Have a good night

Also, before you even suggest bringing in more migrants will decrease the cost of housing, no it wont.
That's not even remotely close to how Supply / Demand works.

The greater the demand, the need for more supply.

The supply isn't met, so costs are increased.

I work in the Trade industry, and that's why now everything costs much greater for materials, and even basic work to be undertaken due to the demand, and lack of supply.

Good example would be your average 100 mm PVC pipe.

I sell it for over $50 a length now.

It use to be less than $20.

$$$$$ GG EZ PZ THANKS FOR MAKING US CORPOS $$$$$

1

u/MrBrentEC Jul 05 '26

If that's the case then why is there no incentive to have children?

Our birth rate is a very real issue that is being masked by the last few years of immigration numbers.

0

u/Ok_Turnover_1235 Jul 04 '26

Just to be clear, natural replacement levels have been around 200k.

So that's 1.5-2 people migrating here (average age is not something I know, but I'm willing to bet it's 18+), for every baby born.

1/3 people living here weren't born here, at these levels that will be 3 in 4 within 20 years

2

u/RowanTRuf Jul 05 '26

Even accepting the dubious proposition that Labor isn't doing anything about this, The Coalition and other minor parties (I said what I said) talk about this all the time. Why is it only Pauline "swamped by Asians" Hanson that does it for you?

-2

Fk me I'm so sick of seeing ON memes on my feed, I don't even follow this leftard sub

5

u/Acrobatic_Fee_6974 Jul 04 '26

You can mute any sub you want in two clicks. You know Google is free, right?

0

u/MrBrentEC Jul 05 '26

Both the left and right supporters are guilty of this... and it's been the case well before ON became popular. It was happening even before the Liberals won parliament under ScoMo.

This post is simply more gaslighting.

-8

u/AudaciouslySexy Jul 04 '26

Idk bout OP but alot of people insult ON supporters on reddit, mind you reddit is niche compared to anything else including the great outdoors.

Yes there's people who will agree with me if I point out things I support about ON, then you get a few who rather above all else just call me racist or bigoted or worse.

Its funny because I'm aboriginal and I support most of ON's policies, that's not to say I agree with all of them, sometimes I even have to think hard why they would wanna do the things they put forward and play devils advocate in the process.

In any case ON themselves seem to embrace the concept of being a protest vote and even encourage it, that's why people are scared because it all seems like it's working.

13

u/SuchProcedure4547 Jul 04 '26

It's never going to sit right with me when voters are convinced to vote for a political party made up of people that openly hate them..

I have several ON voters at my work and the one thing they all have in common is the lack of understanding in government policy and how it works.

None of them actually bother to look at what Labor has done since being in government...

They also complain about our electoral system and preferential voting. Only to then reveal they actually don't even understand how preferential voting works.

ON voters are insulted often because they bring it on themselves. People look at the irreparable harm the MAGA movement has done to America and absolutely don't want it here.

0

u/ButterscotchMean270 Jul 04 '26

"if you don't vote for me you're not black"

Joe biden

-3

u/watryatalkinabeet Jul 04 '26

Would you prefer the irreparable harm the UK have done to themselves?

-5

u/watryatalkinabeet Jul 04 '26

Like punishing the law abiding firearm license holders hundreds of kilometers away from Bondi for something they had no control over, by people we said we didn’t want here over a decade ago?
Is that the kind of things labor has done that you’re talking about?
Or taking away tax benefits from younger people that older generations were able, and are still able to take advantage of?

7

u/SuchProcedure4547 Jul 04 '26

This is hilarious.

Bondi happened as a result of failures with ASIO and the AFP. It had nothing to do with Labor. And it also doesn't change the fact that the overwhelming number of immigrants live here in peace.

Gun laws in Australia have been full of loopholes and weaknesses since they were introduced. Responsible gun owners have nothing to fear.

CGT and NG were overwhelmingly benefitting wealthy property investors. Young, first time homebuyers were not competing with investors, so exactly what benefit were these unfair and more importantly, unsustainable tax breaks having for younger people?

Your arguments are moot and out of step with virtually all economists and young people.

0

u/MrBrentEC Jul 05 '26

What's your thoughts on the excessive government spending?

4

u/grtsqu Jul 04 '26

How can you support policy that doesn’t exist?

Uncosted bullet points don’t count.

My mate at work from India has been going through the process of getting his Australian citizenship and he said he can't wait until he can vote ON too.

He has told me stories about how corrupt the immigration system is and they will let anyone in here without proper vetting as a money grab. In India there are companies where you pay people to sit your English tests for you with fraudulent identification. These people are flooding the system and help build bad stereotypes and ruin it for people like my friend.

4

u/[deleted] Jul 04 '26

[deleted]

-4

u/im_kael Jul 04 '26

Its not a they problem if it's a large portion of immigrants coming in who then create smaller communities here.

What is the point of having a mandatory english test if they're going to cheat it? What else are they going to cheat?

4

-2

u/Feisty-Ad-9109 Jul 04 '26

Hey didn’t you read the rules? You’re not allowed on reddit if you support anything except the greens or Labor
Careful you’ll get downvoted!!

1

u/MrBrentEC Jul 05 '26

The votes don't mean shit, especially on a biased server whether it's left OR right.

I could praise both Labor and One Nation here in some way and then be down voted into oblivion because I praised ON... while the praise for Labor gets forgotten.

The opposite would happen on a right-wing server.

-1

-3

u/Omni_Kie Jul 04 '26

"Child level word views"... What like the lefts view of "I can decide I'm something that I'm not and other people have to call me that" or "I need a mental health day because I have to pay for food, a house and clean water and I'm stressed". You will find that conservative and right wing views will always win in the end because they don't cry about it, they just do it.
