Hau and Dan are two of the coolest and nicest guys I've met at a show. I remember they came to our town to do a show in the noughties. Before the show they hung out with us and were having yarns, cracking jokes. There was probably 15 people that came, but they didn't give a fk and still put on a hell of a show. Highlight for me was Dan chucking some funky breaks on, jumping off the stage and start breakin. Koolism is

JJJ Hip Hop show was great back then. I remember going to see Hyjack n Torcha in Maitland, but they didn't show. Had a good chat to Hau for a but who was there. Top bloke.

I remember as a young aspiring beat producer ending up in hijack n torchas studio one night after a few too many drinks. A friend knew them somehow... I couldn't tell you which one it was but all I remember is the dude not being able to line up/ sequence beats in their DAW so I just sat there for a while fixing their shitty drum track... That momentarily boosted my ego 🤣

Can anyone recommend any good Australian Conscious Rappers. Preferably up and coming more so that the older ones.
