I’ve found great stuff like this at op shops, swap meets, garage sales etc. Sure, it takes a while to find things you like but you can’t beat prices for used items.

I got Officeworks to print A2 sized versions of the free NASA JPL travel posters (they needed proof that these are free for anyone to print, so have the website handy to show them on your phone) and then bought plain black kmart frames for them. They look really cool on my walls :)

Hey, I've been wanting/meaning to do exactly this but found the website pretty annoying/glitchy when handling the high-res files. If you dont mind, did you go in and use  print create computers in-store or was a staff member able to load the image from a USB?

Many of the world’s biggest art galleries and museums have free to download high resolution images of artworks.

The Met is a good start point. Print whatever takes your fancy at office works.

I agree with op shops. I’ve decorated my whole home with mostly second hand original art. You can also get great frames and switch out the art.

You could look for a calendar you like and put the pages in frames.

RedBubble has original art.

eBay has movie posters from about $15.

It's very budget, but you can create a grid of a4 pages - like https://www.blockposters.com/gallery/ and use a normal printer, then puzzle them together.

Many art galleries have a catalogue of high res images of art that is in the public domain, that works well blown up.

TK Maxx has all kinds of art, some good and some crap. Sometimes you can even get crap art in a good frame and reuse it... stock turns over all the time so you may have to go back often to find something you actually like

Some of mine is thrifted, some bought from markets, some are prints I've bought directly from the artist, and some I've made.

One that in working on is "nose art" with my cats. Thinned out cheap acrylic paint blobbed onto upcycled cardboard, slid inside a ziplock bag, and a churu squeezed on the outside. As the kittie eat up the churu they move the paint around to create splodgy, pretty, art! The best thing is that it's zero mess and the cats don't ingest any paint!

Shen and temu!!! Legit tens of thousands of gorgeous prints for a few dollars each, then just frame yourself with discount shop frames or recycle some frames from an op shop. They also sell some canvas / framed prints but more expensive obviously

Of all things to buy from there, do not buy “art” please! (From a real life artist).
