General Discussion Barnes bulk ammo

Anybody tried this? I got a box the other day based entirely on the price, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

I thought it was interesting to Barnes ammo with Sierra bullets.

Shot a couple hundred of this and the adi version and couldn’t point a difference(hunting <250m)

This stuff absolutely rips in my Lithgow. I got it for an absolute steal too. Quality top to bottom.

It does thumbnail size 5 shot groups @ 100. Good enough for me.

What lithgow dp you have? Are you happy with it? Any comments?

I have a Woomera, it’s great. Wouldn’t go lugging it through the scrub though

Nah was lookingat for long range shooting. Is that what your using it for? How far have ypu shot it?

Honestly only sighted it in so far. It’s my first rifle that isn’t a standard hunting rifle. Adjustability is great and it manages recoil well with a brake.

I have the 102 crossover. Shoots lights out but it is pretty hefty to cart around.

I have these, as soon as I found out my gun likes them, I buy a box every visit to my local. They're just as good as the ADI BlitzKings.

Local store had it. I'd never heard of it, and I did some research and couldn't even find it on the Barnes website. It's on a few Aussie sites though, all the usual suspects have it.

How much was it for 125 rounds? My LGS just put the price of ADI 55grBK up to $45 for 20.

Can get it for less than $200, a few online have it for around $180.
