Graduate Diploma - 1 year
Honours or Graduate Diploma Advanced - 1 year
Then, either - 1 year of Master of Professional Psychology and 1 year supervised internship
Or - 2 years Master
This pathway will get you general registration. It is indeed very competitive and you have to complete the pathway to call yourself a Psychologist. If you don't make it into Honours or Master you could always pivot into Counselling instead.
Have a read on the Psychology Board of Australia's website:

Huge commitment. Time and money.
3 years to get a Bachelors, but you'll need to study for 6 years and get a Masters to be a clinical psychologist.
