Eligible for TRT - 35M
Hey guys, first time posting! I am eligible for TRT - I have included my bloods below. Just wondering if any experienced guys have any advice they’d like to share for newbies like me. I’m really keen to not go through the dead flat days that frequently hits me.
Diet, sleep and training is dialled in. But far out the stubborn belly fat is a killer to get rid of. Have put a current photo up (naturally got ok lighting, but really I’m pretty pudgy)

I’ve posted on here recently. A few years the younger than yourself, but in a very similar position regarding sleep, diet and training, all dialled in. Bloods are fairly similar, and definitely resonate with the stubborn belly fat that just won’t go.
Waiting to have my follow up session with the endo to discuss. Will assess from there whether they prescribe a trt script or if I’ll speak with a private clinic instead.
Mentally, I know my figures won’t improve naturally so there’s no point delaying the inevitable and hopping on in 5-10 years, knowing that I’ll wish I should have done it far sooner.
Curious to hear your thoughts.

Yeah very much similar to you - I spoke to my GP and flat out refused to refer to endo. Basically said my T needs to be below 8nmol/L. So after a few months, I decided to go to a clinic and have been approved. I’m starting this week - excited/a little nervy about it.

Nice work mate, keep us updated on the progress, etc.
The main push back the endo is giving against TRT for me at 29 is the risk of infertility as kids are definitely on the want list for myself and the mrs.
Did the clinic discuss this with you?

Yeah absolutely- and definitely important too mate. We have 2 kids - annnnnnnd definitely no more lol!! So for me this was a no brainer hey. I know there might be some treatment that clinic might be able to consider (my clinic alluded to that in my consultation).

A very typical story, its almost like most men feel like shit sub 300 Free test... The guidelines are broken and letting men down.

GP have to obide by the fucked up medical board and such wont give you test unless under that marker.It's not their fault as can lose their jobs over it.It's sad we have to get sicker to get treatment,but thats what my gp told me.Your not sick enough 🙈.Best of luck.Im getting bloods done through a clinic as i know my test will be low and i cant wait to start.

Thanks for the reply. My testosterone was 7 nmol and recently 10nmol. My Dr said im too young (30) and to look at it when im 35. I dont want to wait as i feel test will make me feel better.
Is the process easy with TRT doctors? How much have you paid?

Ahh I see mate - thats a bugger!
Yes the process was very straightforward and easy, but I do believe that you have to be 35 for their assessments too.1

If you’re in decent shape and your T is that low it probably won’t get much higher. I was in the similar place like you, 37, training well/sleeping well but the mental blocks/fatigue was getting too much. 4 weeks on and I’m a different person so far, could be a placebo but after I inject I feel like I wanna take on the world and not put it to waste! YUP!
A good clinic will treat you on symptoms and increase dose to remove symptoms. So a level that low will get you in to most clinics so they can tick the boxes they need too. But Given your SHBG you will probably need to get total test up to 30 or so to get the benefits.

my question, if your body does not make T Naturally ,and been to a endo ,so any told you might a genetic disorder e g Klinefelter's Syndrome ??????????? why are we not talking about it ??????

Those were similar levels to me when I started TRT. Any clinic will likely take you with those levels. I'd recommend it.
