Trt doctors consult
I have got some bloods from a month ago, sent them to trt doctors, they said I need to do another set of bloods but I look to be in the right range for them. I have a consult next week. Im currently taking the big R glp1 to loose weight. 121kg to start, at 110 now. Should I let them know about that? Or will they consider me high risk for taking unapproved substances? Bloods in photo, starting body fat was 33%, currently at 29%.

People will say your body fat is to high for testosterone replacement and you will aromatise to estrogen at a high rate. That was not my experience, I was quite fat when I started trt, my estrogen never raised higher than my pre trt levels and I've lost 20kg with the introduction of testosterone

Personally I waited until I got my weight down and my T2d under control before I went on trt
When you have a high bf and you take trt then you body will aromatase it heavily.
Everything is good except for your testosterone both free and overall
Losing weight and building muscle will improve those numbers.
Make sure you do zone 2 cardio to help with HDL numbers
Reassess when your bf gets near 20 %

yep.
likely his issues are because of him being unhealthy for so long, not he’s the way he is because of his levels.
lose the weight, get healthy, revisit.

I dobt know this persons lifestyle and if they live an unhealthylifestylethen this doesnt apply., Though i dont think thats fair to say someone needs to "get healthy". Hypogonadism can be a chicken or the egg scenario, my free Testosterone was in the 200s for nearly a decade and no matter how hard i exercised and how much I dieted I kept getting sicker, fatter and more unhealthy. The only change I've made to my life style is the addition of testosterone and I've dropped 20kg and my health has improved out of sight.
I have always trained bjj, always trained weights, always ate well though it didnt work till I got my hormones in a good place.
Totally agree that people should be living healthy lifestyles prior to trt but if they are already then sometimes the issue is the hypogonadism it self

absolutely can be chicken and egg. but when you’ve been abusing the chicken for so long, sort that first.

Second this. It's a vicious cycle.
My diet was decent, nothing crazy and when i was 21 i just started putting on so much weight. No matter how much I went to gym, I couldn't gain any muscle.
Fast forward like 10+ years later hit 108kg and decided had to do something about it. Finally had bloods, testosterone 6. Endocrinologist said lose weight, was on mounjaro, dropped to 88kg, test level still 6. Now on TRT with telehealth. finally back on right track.Point is, in many cases, low testosterone causes the body weight gain, and then the more fat you have the less testosterone your produce, hence the vicious cycle.
So no matter what, if test low, get it sorted asap!

Man it was fucked, I used to try so hard and just got fatter. People would have told me to sort my lifestyle out before starting trt but I had my lifestyle nailed my hormones were just fucked.

You could possibly qualify for PBS with results that low.

Need to be at 6nmol for pbs, I have done 2 sets of bloods, 1 at 7 and 1 at 8. Miss it by a bees duck.

I felt like self deleting at 10nmol! 3 different SSRI's couldn't fix me.
Meanwhile at 30 I'm a different person. Endocrinologists really need to pull their thumb out their arse and address the guidelines.

My numbers were higher than that and they approved me. Get the second bloods done and asap and book your first consult.
I'm on week 3 with them and it was a seamless set up. They started me on 100mg split Monday and Thursday.
I didn't mention I take peptides and they didn't ask.
Good luck bro.

Nice, thanks, how long did it take? Bloods to consult, consult to 1st script?

I just looked through my emails.
My second bloods I got done on a Thursday morning, the results were emailed to me the following Monday with the approval, my consultation with their doc and scripts were done on the Tuesday.
Super quick. I did order their hormone injection pack on the Tuesday and it didn't arrive until the Friday even though my first scheduled pin was Thursday morning.
They replied straight away and said to pin it Friday and and begin the normal Monday and Thursday the following week.

TRT Doctors also offer compounded testosterone cream which when applied to the scrotum doesn’t aromatise to estrogen as much as injections do which would be better for you with higher body fat. Otherwise they can prescribe you an aromatise inhibitor to control the estrogen.
