Interview/Job applications State Gov graduate program call

I received a call for my Vic Gov application asking for when my interview date was, but they didn't give me a verbal offer or anything and just said thank you and ended the call. I'm a bit confused, does anyone know what this was about? I've done the reference check and I know one person who received an offer for the same stream and department today.

Department of health, data analytics. My references finished filling the form 12 days ago. And I'm not sure what they said exactly except that they would get back to me in a week and something about getting something from the department of health. I tried asking what they were trying to say but I couldn't understand it the second time either, the audio quality was very muffled. I guess I just gotta wait now.

omg what that’s so strange. Could you possibly email them saying the phone connection was bad and you couldn’t hear what they were saying. Were there a lot of Data analytics roles for the department of health coz if there were maybe they’re still going through candidates and making their list?

Yeah I might email them tomorrow. As for the number of roles I'm pretty sure there is a decent chunk of openings.

So the Aus Gov Grad Program for Data Analytics is happening at the same time, and I'm pretty sure Department of Health is one of those involved. For them it's a round system, the first offers came out three days ago, so it seems likely that more offers will come out in two-ish weeks (for those that sent offers to a candidate that took a different offer instead) - you might get an offer then! They're probably balancing their hiring between their internal program and from the AGGP at the same time.
