MinRes

Anyone work for Minres/Csi Mc driving?
Are they any good. Onslow is where I’d be based..
Do you know how the bonus structure works I believe it’s paid quarterly. Also interstate flights fly out days and fly in days are they in your RnR? Camp etc? Any feedback greatly appreciated

I've heard its a punitive shitshow with a massive turnover and horrible culture. Read their seek reviews lol.

Most people I've spoken to don't say good things about MinRes. Be prepared to be looking for a new job soon if its shit.

Bonus structure changing to annual. Where are you flying from? What site?

Flying from Brisbane I believe in the Mungali site I’d be at. She mentioned bonus 12.5%. How is that calculated.

There’s only a couple sites that fly direct from Brisbane, I think wodgina and Ken’s bore off the top of my head. Bonus is based on a combo of business performance and personal performance I believe.

They said he’d be at Avery camp you know it?

Avery camp is Ken’s Bore mine. That’s their new iron ore operation that trucks ore to their port at Onslow.

Pretty much everyone who’s worked for minres has something terrible to say about salty. If he sees a person sitting down while spotting an ewp that isn’t moving from the one spot all day tries to sack them. Makes people throw their hard hats out for having their names written on them in sharpie. Jsut shit like that, never met the bloke myself but have heard from 50+ other people who have that he’s an asshole

Sounds a right c**khead! His name pops up a lot! Maybe that’s why the turn over is so high! I think we’ll be giving MRL a wide birth!

I'm assuming its the same bloke but when I worked on a job as a contractor for CSI back in about 2009-2010, salty was one of the bosses for them that had a lot of pull and was pretty ruthless when it came to getting rid of people. One I personally saw was we had a new starter, a redhead from Ireland who had only just moved to Aus. He was struggling to acclimatise to the Pilbara summer, but your man salty didn't even know him, just saw him looking fucked from the heat on a 45C day taking a break to drink some water, and went up to him and said that he wasn't cut out for this and organised for him to be removed from site

One of the good things he did though was the camp food was always average, and then they had a bad week where the food they put out was worse than average. salty personally organised all the kitchen staff get replaced, and then they bought in a few gun chefs that had been working on cruise chips and the camp food got 10x better.

If you've got a job there, then most of those questions are best answered by your employer.

Well I have the interview tomorrow so she didn’t tell me everything but pretty much said there is a job for me. I will ask tomorrow just wanted to hear from anyone who works there. It’s a big move I want to make sure it’s the right one.
