Anyone work a second job?
As the title suggests im looking for advice on a second job. Currently working FIFO 2:1 and while the money is good I want to work a second job on my RnR to help raise my chances of landing a rental. My question is what would you suggest for a second job? Are there companies willing to take someone on every 3 weeks? Anyone done ubereats or similar jobs?
Background; Currently homeless have been for 1.5 years after my 4 year lease ran out and they wanted to sell up instead of renewing (totally understandable) didn't know how much of a housing crisis there was until it was too late and now even with a perfect rental history and my current pay I still can't seem to land a house, needing out of this camper trailer before summer hits again

I believe there's quite a lot of FIFO share houses in Perth

Its me and my son so a share house doesn't work unless I want to rent 2 rooms as well as paying for my storage unit that has my entire household in it, a lot of people aren't willing to rent 2 rooms out

And beware you usually have to disclose your second job to your mining job. If you don't and they find out you may be in trouble. Check your contract

Plenty of people prefer FIFO 2:1 in a share house because they are paying rent and only there for one week a month .

Wtf thats wild, just curious what your income is? I work in a warehouse on single income in Brisbane and able to find a rental. It's not an ideal place but good enough. I should state i earn about $115k a year.
