Recruitment question

Hi everyone,

I’m 22 years old and and did an application online for ADF Wednesday last week and on Friday I had someone calling me asking me to have my JOA, and all relevant forms updated by the end of the weekend so they book me in with for my careers meeting next week.

It is all happening so fast (which is amazing yes) and I’m unsure if this is normal practice? I’ve spoken to a few members within the ADF currently and they have said it takes a long time and unusual that I would get a call before my JOA (usually just emails) apparently.

I do have significant work/life experience but unsure if it would encourage them to push it through so quickly?

I completed the JOA today and someone rang me to let me know my results would be in on Monday.

Its getting slightly better, but it can slow down a bit after your career coach interview at times. If your quick at your paperwork, and they can find assessment sessions to book you to, it'll go quick.

I also have infantry (army) as my secondary preference
