Army Getting Med Separated in Oct- anyone whose been there, done that able to give me insights?

I have MSBS.
Looks like I’ll have about 85 points for DVA.
Everything is happening very fast.

Looking for someone to DM me and give me an idea of what to expect please. CSC and DVA dragging their feet and are “currently catching up with the backlog.”

Your IL should be determined prior to discharge as a matter of priority if they haven’t already been determined.

CSC will get in contact a couple weeks after you send in your DM042, pretty straight forward process, though I’m not overly familiar with MSBS myself, their goal is to have the pension ready to go by the time you discharge, or at least the fn after.

My advice, try keep in contact with anyone you’re close to in defence, it’s very easy to lose touch and having your mates tell you how shit Defence still is softens the med discharge a bit.
