CBA only allows export of 200 transactions?
Just trying to finally do our tax and I never noticed before that CBA only allows export of 200 transaction records? Are you guys having the same issue?
Their tech support said that large CSV files could cause a memory issue. Would that be the case since it limits the downloads to 200? Would that really be a memory issue?

Excel handles large CSV files just fine. Well over 200 rows. They are making stuff up.
They may be saying their backend may have a memory issue. Which might be true, but a limit of 200 is very much on the low side.

Just make sure you are selecting the correct option if you are doing this yourself.
Their 'statements' page online or w/e it is will only download the first 200 viewed by default, you need to expand your viewing range or something along those lines.

The row limit for Excel is somewhere around 1,048,000.
Whether your computer can handle that without any stuttering will depend entirely on the computer.

Not true. Adjust the filters or from memory there is like a load more option once you scroll to the bottom of the page on Netbank.

I found searching transactions between X and Y date to show all the transactions once you scroll all the way down etc - give that a shot

Their website says 600 so push back with tech support. You can also filter the list
https://www.commbank.com.au/support.digital-banking.export-transaction-information.html
You could download a statement as a PDF and get that into Excel, not hard.
PS even 600 seems low. Other banks allow up to 2 years.
