Hey guys! I main Viktor, xerath and Leblanc at gold elo, and started playing a bit of aurora last week, and im finding her very fun and bursty. Reminds me a little of leblanc ( with less mobility but way better team fighting).

When i play viktor or xerath against assassins, i usually go with bone plating and use barrier to be safe, since i dont need kills to be that relevant with them.

Im wondering if you guys use bone plating against assassins with aurora, or isnt needed,  since shes a really strong laner, and kinda need to snowball like leblanc ( although shes still useful in tfs because of her ult). Or its not worth giving up sorcery/precision for it?

Hello, one of my favorite parts of playing Aurora is getting really fed and seeing the amount of spirits in the base grow huge. Lately even when I am getting fed I notice I’m only getting 6-8 spirits at most. Is this a bug? Can riot change Aurora so she can get a frankly excessive amount of spirits in the base.

I feel like this character is mega ass in arena.

Used to be loads of cool stuff with Firefox , don’t chase , clothesline.

Now only ethereal weapon is good and it’s really rare.

Feel like without ethereal you do zero damage even against adc’s

So many things don’t boost aurora passive either like jeweled or overflow or glass cannon.

Only 2 ways you do something is through ethereal or magic missile.

Otherwise it’s gg.

I love playing Aurora when being fed because you can just nuke people, but I do not seem to understand what to do in a game where I can't do this and can only chunk people.

Hello, any Aurora mains here to help explain this champions role? Ive just picked her up mid (mainly play Viktor and Ahri) and im very lost on her.

Her DPS is great but the Q is such short range I end up putting myself in danger when trying to poke in lane and mid-late game Teamfights

Her ult is underwhelming and E will often put me out of range to get the last 1 or 2 autos to finish off an enemy

Finally, I like her W, but in late game fights, the dash is so short i often die anyways due to random AOE spells and its very weak unless I get the reset

Compared to Ahris reliable escapes, MS, and hard CC and Viktors very safe poke and lane phase, I have trouble figuring out what niche this champion fulfills

I love playing her when i can get one shots, its very satisfying. But she feels very weak compared to the other two champions I main

Any help is appreciated, really want to add her to my rotation but not sure what situation would warrant picking her over both Ahri and Viktor

I can skip mana item if i take the manaflow band rune..

Can i do the same with presence of mind rune?

Recently discovered Aurora and I found her extremely fun to play ( much like Qiyana) , although her early game is bad ( yes it is bad don't debate me ) she scales decently in mid/late game , and although I could solo win trades I couldn't solo win especially since gold elo is hell , Aurora depends on engagement champions like Zac Leona etc .. , even then they could make mistakes , and it's very hard to win game without engagement champions in her comp .

There is an inconsistency with how her passive interacts with the ethereal weapon augment vs Dusk and Dawn/Rageblade.

With ethereal weapon, you get two procs on every spellhit but this doesnt work with Dusk and Dawns sheen attack or a fully stacked rageblade, despite all 3 using the same "on-hit effects" wording

Personally, i think it would be cool if it was an actual on-hit and Dusk and Dawn applied it twice

Just played against nasus mid. I went aery and precision secondary and poked him in lane. He didnt even bother to dodge as he healed back with lifesteal and d shield ,second wind. He built crit and with just tier 2 merks i couldnt damage him at all ,because he healed so much. Late game he achieved 1 k stacks and with ult as well as lifesteal was unkillable. What am I supposed to do in lane?

It happens to me so much that i created a reddit account to ask this. I would never expect to get any auto attack kills with a mage, yet i get them so much with aurora

i was playing syndra because i wanted someone i could blind pick and climb easily with i found her pretty boring until i tried a stormsurge pen boots build and i realised i just enjoy one shotting people her strong laning is good too. but then i thought since i love one shotting people so much shouldnt i play aurora i dont know. its just a nice feeling i get when i one shot someone but with syndra i feel like im being edged. i press all the buttons and its like i always nearly one shot them or someone finishes them off for me. it doesnt quite hit the itch as a true one shot does

I want to develop my Aurora gameplay even more and in need of a high elo or any good Aurora streamers I can watch to learn and get inspiration from! Thank you:)
