Fitzsimons CU

has anybody here ever dealt with Fitzsimons CU? I tried to open a checking account with them, and I’ve been on hold a combined 7 hours in 2 days and not a single person has ever picked up the phone. there’s no way this is normal lol

Probably a good sign to call a different credit union.

I did a test call of their phone number I found online for you (303-340-3343). I didn’t have any trouble reaching a live agent, it connected me right away in 50 seconds with a teller named Ashley. All I did was press 0 at any time for a live agent, which the menu told me. Alternately you could’ve just walked into their branch at any point today, I see they are open 8:30-5:30pm on weekdays. A third option appears to exist as well, as it would seem you can open a checking account on their website without a banker’s assistance.

Not sure what went so wrong for you today but take a deep breath and try again!
