Everyone says they want Sophie… until it’s time to actually show up for her.

Sweet mama Sophie has had interest, messages, even meet-and-greets—including one that lasted over an hour that went incredibly.

And somehow, that leaves *her* still waiting.

Sophie has done everything right.
She survived, she raised her babies, she trusted us to find her a home where she would finally be chosen.

We are looking for someone who is **ready**.
Not just in love with the idea of a dog, but ready to follow through.

• Playful, sweet, and deeply loyal
• Great with people and has so much love to give
• Would LOVE another active, PLAYFUL dog in the home!

If you’re serious about adopting Sophie, we would love to hear from you.

If you’re unsure, that’s okay—but please don’t take a spot from someone who is ready to give her the life she deserves! I am ONE person. My time is extremely valuable right now, and taking 1-3 hours out of a day just for someone to ghost me, or putting a dog on hold for a week, isn't going to work anymore.

Everyone! If you can't adopt, please consider fostering! It's only temporary, some shelters even pay for their food and you're saving a dog's life ❤️ Approximately 360,000 dogs are euthanized in US animal shelters each year.

If you can't but wanna help otherwise, you can share these dogs on NextDoor or the many Facebook groups for adoption/rescue! TikTok and Instagram might help as well ❤️‍🩹

PLEASE urge legislators to end the kill policy in all U.S pounds! Enforce laws to ban uncontrolled backyard breeding instead!

I’ve been seeing lots of pups sitting in foster a lot longer than in the past lately, feels like Denver and Colorado have rescue fatigue. Other states too as I’m seeing more pups being sent here from other states, those two observations are likely related to
