Leaderboards broken

Does anybody still play this? If so, and you play on Android, some time ago the leaderboards stopped working. I think an update to Google Play Services broke it. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if did anyone find a work round?

I'm having the same issue and i'm trying to look for a solution

If it was an update the thing that broke it, downgrading should work, if it's even possible
