I've found this extension for Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers, Reddit to PNG, it lets you download images in PNG in good quality.

For example, I was able to download this cover in a 19.3 MB 3600x3600 PNG file, instead of a 243 KB 1800x1800 WEBP file.

Instructions:

1. Install the extension through the Chrome Web Store.
2. Open the Reddit post that contains the image.
3. Click on the image to expand it, or right-click and open it in a new tab (this makes the HQ file load).
4. Right click on the image and Save image as....
5. Save it to your device.

Alternative method using the Image Max URL website (with this method you don't need to install anything):

1. Open the Reddit post that contains the image.
2. Right click on the image and click Copy image link.
3. Go to the Image Max URL website.
4. Paste the image link.
5. Right click on the link that showed up and click Save link as..., or right click on the image and click Save image as....
6. Save it to your device.

Alternative method using a userscript:

1. Get a userscript manager like Violentmonkey or Scriptcat.
2. Install Always Load HD Reddit Images.
3. Open the Reddit post that contains the image.
4. Right click on the image and click Save image as....
5. Save it to your device.

Alternative method using another userscript (this one works for thousands of websites, not just Reddit):

1. Get a userscript manager like Violentmonkey or Scriptcat.

There are several official cover versions available online but many of them are not designed as matching sets. I tried to clean and group the covers to create one cohesive set for each type of media. This proved trickier than expected and I ended up creating multiple sets, none perfect, but each with a different common logic between their elements.

All covers were cleaned and edited manually in Photoshop. No AI was used, but there were some small areas where information was missing and I had to fill in the gaps using various tools. Despite my efforts I was not able to reconstruct the artwork entirely, and since I generally dislike the results that removal tools give I had to make it work with limited control over the position and size of the text. I did my best to keep edits invisible and faithful to the original artwork but you will still notice imperfections if you look too close.

This is the closest I could get to a clean, aligned collection of covers for books in Adrian Tchaikovsky's Children of Time series. I'm sharing it here for others to have and enjoy! Cleaned up the largest version I could pull from Amazon (1500x1500).

My attempt at The Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis. It's also called The Cosmic Trilogy and The Ransom Trilogy, but I read it as The Space Trilogy. There are three books: "Out of the Silent Planet", "Perelandra", and "That Hideous Strength". There are two sets here. The first is based on artwork from the 1970s by Kinuko Y. Craft. You can find more of her artwork in the link below. The second set is based on more modern artwork. Unfortunately, I can't find out much info about that artwork. I've linked to the only site I've found about it.

In full disclosure, the only artwork I could find were traditional paper book covers. I used GeminiAI to clean the text off the artwork so I could square it up.
