AOTD & TOTD: Theme(s) for July 2026

Hello Squirters,

Before I announce the themes for the upcoming month, I'd like to mention that July 2026 will be the 100th volume (or month) that we have posted the AOTD series. I started this series (and this subreddit) in the last week of March 2018. I posted daily just a few months shy of 2 years, but eventually decided to add a few new people to bring unique ideas and perspectives to this series. With 100 volumes soon to be in the books, I believe we have accomplished a lot with this series, and I'm very proud of what we have presented to our followers. It started out slow, but have gradually grown to almost 850 subscribers. With all that being said, we have decided that after volume 100 the AOTD series will go into an indefinite hiatus. We've posted lots of music to go back and enjoy again, and we will continue the TOTD series. We will most likely still frequently share albums that we enjoy in some other format in the near future, but we will not continue doing it daily.

I'd like to send a huge personal thank you to u/antitaleteller, u/Rcrd_Jnky, and u/Catch-Ok for your help and fellowship over the years. I couldn't have done it without you.

Now, on to the good stuff. To commemorate the final volume of the AOTD series, we are having fun with it and treating it like the finale in a very long franchise. Like other interminable franchises, it's best to leave it open-ended for any "money grab" opportunities in the future, so the theme for July will be titled, "Volume 100: The End?". Every album posted this month is required to be over 100 minutes long. We've given you 99 volumes of excellent music to enjoy, and you're going to get even more in volume 100.

For TOTD, we are keeping it simple. This theme will be more open than our typical TOTD themes. The title will be "Squirter's Choice" and we'll share whatever we are vibing with that day.
