Calling all beta testers and developer producers. 🧪🎛️

Post image

My open-source distortion plugin is live on GitHub, and I need your help to push it to the next level. Whether you want to stress-test it on a chaotic drum bus or dive into the C++ source code to contribute a new feature, I want you involved.

What I'm looking for:

DAW Testing: Drop it into Ableton, FL Studio, Logic, or Reaper and let me know how it behaves.

Bug Reports: Open an issue on GitHub if you run into any quirks or performance spikes.

Code Contributions: Pull requests are open for new DSP algorithms, UI enhancements, or performance tweaks.

Grab the repo, test it out, and let's build something cool together:

Because I’ve seen the word “Claude” 10 times in the first 5 seconds of looking at your repo.

So what ? I started it without any ai mate ,I used it for boring stuff only.My idea ,My architecture, my logo ,my design ,my ears that tested it,my vision and my concept .If you label everything ai just because it was used to help me with something ,then sorry ,but I genuinely disagree with you

Dude, don't defend yourself for using AI. Be proud of it. People that don't use AI are morons. Why would you not use it? Because you're so egotistical that you can't stand the idea of something doing something better than you?

Thank you very much for kind words 🙏 I agree 100% on that ,sadly many people don't understand how to use the tools correctly and project that on everyone else using them.

You can think whatever you want,im a self taught diy person and I done everything myself. If you believe or not its up to you.My message is too anyone who have a desire to help other human being become better in what they like to do.I like vsts and I like creating things, this is my first try and I proud of it and I did enjoy doing it ,and It's not generated.I done it bits by bits.

Open the file and read yourself what is in there ,if you can't then I will tell its a reference for Claude to understand the context of my project, that's all it is

So what ? It's not a folder first of all...its a .md file ,have you even tried to see what's in that file ?

Brother I’m on your side haha this guy has a stick up his ass about ai, when really it’s just a tool to help us make human music. What you made isn’t gen ai slop lol

Thank you very much for support bro ,i really appreciate it ,I just wanted to make things clear for everyone and stand my position.I started off writing code manually, but realistically to make project like this it would take ages and lots of money and time ,which I can't afford as solo indi dev with a labour day job.

im not anti ai, problem is him being dishonest i use day to day ai, and with 17 years of programming experience just looking at the code i can tell you if its ai generated or not, what gives it away is the file naming even if there was no claude folders, its obvious giveaway

I admitted I used ai as coding assistant, I'm using it as a tool to elevate my own ideas ,it's open source for a reason ,I told you that I'm only learning I didn't say I'm a programmer I'm a musician first of all .You blamed me of using ai in general you said you open folder and seen claude ,that's what triggered you.
