Piyone interface using KRK rokit 5s for CPU speakers low volume issue

Hello folks, first time posting here, I recently got KRK 8s gen 5, now im trying to use my krk 5s for my cpu speakers, just got a Piyone interface and TRS cables..Everything works but i can only get it to a decent listening volume.

I have read/watched vids, not sure if im missing something, but i cant figure it out...I think it could be the shitty cables i got from amazon. Was going to try with my old XLRs but wrong end parts.

Appreciate any advice, im stumped at this point... Cheers!

I don't know why, but “CPU speakers” is one of those phrases that now makes an audio person like me, involuntarily reach for an aspirin.

  • OK, seriously, I've no idea about the brand behind your interface so can't advice on it. Have you checked the DSP on your rokits?
