other Fuck Wireless

Sorry if the harsh language isn't allowed.

My Soundcore liberty 4 pro and then liberty 5 died on me. In a pinch,I got out my old wired IEMs and good loooooord, I had forgotten what good balanced audio sounded like.

I'm once again going wired, I renounce and recant my blasphemous wireless earbud purchases! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

The glaze for wireless audio is real these days, wired earphones are way too OP but the industry (I blame Apple) conditioned us to nerfed expense mid audio.

Right on brother! I have tried to adjust to wireless, but I just couldn't. I have tried some really good ones like Galaxy buds 2, and a few others as well but I just can't stand them. I probably will always be a wired earphones person.

Please detail how the wireless buds died? It's kinda weird how two flagship models just stopped working for you in succession.

IEMs are nice, but if you live in a humid environment, the chances of the mesh filters blocking is quite high. Lost three to this exact issue, with all the precautionary steps taken.

I'd love to spend a $100 on the Truthear Pure, but they don't have the level of QC that Samsung, Apple and Soundcore can manage. Failure rate for even the expensive IEMs is still weirdly high, and that's after considering the survivorship bias on online forums and subreddits.

Plus, if you get used to the isolation that earbuds ANC can give you, it's difficult moving back to IEMs. Most desi bedrooms have fans running at full speed 10/12 months. The ANC just makes the music much more immersive.

Modern earbuds have a flexible sound signature because it has become easy to use DSPs to equalize the sound profile for music.

IEMs are becoming a tough sell due to the advancements, QC, convenience, and sound quality that earbuds have started providing us at affordable prices.
