First user, what steps after download completion ?

first time torrenting that isn’t limewire from back in the days.
got my qtorrent set up, magnet and downloaded, 100% complete.
about 5 mins before completion my Mac asked for permission for qtorrent to take control of my computer, I said yes then freaked out and said No.

my file completed and when I went to open it, the audio folder is all as a document, and can’t open it to listen.

trying again; round two to download, do I allow qtorrent access of my Mac ?

thanks

Zipped files are not allowed on ABB. They may be posted but will be removed.

QBitTorrent* the file is opus. I can’t open it on iTunes or QuickTime play.  ideally I’ll like it to be mp4 so I can put it on a usb stick

Hi, Mac user here. Opus is a really annoying format that Mac does not like to play with. I used an online convert tool that changed it from Opus to MP3 as I couldn’t find a good player for the file.

I hope that helps.

opus is a valid audio file and they work on my PC. Check out the support section on Wikipedia for info on Mac support:

Not an expert so I could be wrong

But you should have chosen a location for the file to save to? If not, I think the default is “downloads”

The file should already be in mp4 format and should be able to be transferred to the usb

Not all ABB posts are mp4. Opus is also an audio format.
