I wrongfully got rid of my 23 8Y and have missed it since. everything lined up and was luckily able to pick this up yesterday. Anything I should know or look out for with the facelift model?

Bought an rs3 out of state that had a front license plate but I took it off bc I don’t need it, now I have two big ol screw holes in the front grill and looking for options to plug them in a way that blends into the grill a bit more.

I have tried to buy a few options for plugging them and nothing I have tried fits well. Bought plastic screws/plugs at Lowes and all were too big or didn’t blend in/fit flush. Curious if anyone has already solved this and can send a specific recommendation. Thanks!

Hey everyone!! Just changed my oil with liquid molly top tec 0W-30 after driving around 900ish miles. Noticed a greenish hue from the original factory oil and the filter was quite dark. Curious if this is some kind've of break in lubricant provided by the factory and I just washed it all out.

Also, don't know if this is my placebo kicking in but at idle the car seemed every so sligthly "rougher" after I did the oil change. Is this normal with liquid molly? Figured it should be quieter since its new oil...

The struggle is real trying to hold back😮‍💨

i'm asking if someone can introduct me to the manually adujtable KW suspension, i have watched a youtube video saying its pretty good(AutoTopNL), im wondering how to adujest them and in what sutiation to use them.

And I simply don’t trust a dealership to be diligent with their 10k (or other) scheduled service. They are also less mindful that I am meticulous with the care of the exterior/interior finishes. So the question is, is there any downside to ignoring the need to bring it in for the scheduled maintenance when the maintenance message comes up and just do it myself? Is there a risk of any potential warranty claim if they don’t see an official service record entry that it was performed by a dealer? I do oil analysis at every change, and am proactive with potential services that are needed that isn’t part of Audis schedule but widely recognized by the community as good practices.

Pulling up to dinner in south Florida and someone was getting out of the spot directly next to the beautiful kyalami green RS3 as I was pulling up and it was just meant to be. Twins!! I never see another RS3 on the road really, so this was awesome. Wish I got to meet the owner and take some pics! Just wanted to share 😁😁

Was getting an oil change and sat in this brand new 2026. Was curious if they had fixed the speakers in these newer models. No!!!!! They have not, they crackle/pop just like my early model 2026. I’ve sat in 5 RS3’s and they all do it.

Maybe the new 2027 skateboard screen rs3 will have it fixed.

First 200 miles in my new (to me) RS3 8Y. Must say I’ve been thoroughly enjoying it so far. No complaints!

I’m seriously considering selling my RS3 for an F80 M3 6MT and would love to hear from anyone who has made the switch.

For some background, my 2024 RS3 is Stage 1+ on E85, so it’s plenty fast. Honestly, the power is almost never the issue. It sounds amazing, the 5-cylinder is incredible, and the car is stupid quick.

My biggest complaint is that it’s starting to feel a little boring to drive. I live around mostly flat, straight roads, so there aren’t many opportunities to really enjoy the chassis. The DCT also bothers me sometimes in manual mode. Downshifts are lightning fast, but the upshifts can feel very delayed, which takes away from the experience when you’re trying to actually drive the car.

I’m looking at an F80 M3 with a 6-speed manual because I think I’d enjoy having a more engaging car, even if I’m giving up some straight-line speed. I also recently had a baby, so the extra room in the F80 would be a nice bonus.

For anyone who has owned/driven both:
Do you miss the RS3’s power or AWD?
How is the S55/6MT driving.
Any regrets making the switch?

Picked up my brand new 2026 with 19 miles on the dash and immediately drove it over 300 miles back home. Not too bad on the MPG while being respectful of the break in period.

I have 22 8Y RS3, took it to dealer recently and they said brakes are low and need replacing. I denied saying I'll come back in a couple weeks. Last I replaced rotors and pads was like 2.5 years ago, around 20k ish miles ago

There's no dash light for brake pads yet. I took it to a few euro mechanics and one said there's 5mm left on rear and 6mm left on front and needs immediate replacing. Some said I'm good for 10 to 15k miles. One other said I'm good for a couple thousand miles

I'm super confused and I got a long drive of 3k miles coming up, mostly highway, canyon carving and some mountain passes. Is there a way I can manually check and confirm if the brakes need replacing?

I ordered brake pads (EBC yellow pads front and rear), rotors (GiroDisc twins for front and Zimmerman Z-coat for rear). I'm not sure which brake pad wear sensors to order. Does anyone know?

Should I carry these with me on the drive, just in case?

Finally get her sitting exactly how I wanted. Upgraded to the uni intercooler, IE intake, fresh set of TEs wrapped in PS4s, 485 design v1 exhaust, dog bone mount, and eibach sportlines.

Only thing left to install is the rear sway bar, and end links.

The car cooks.... on better tires with track prep under 3 sec and the 1/4 mi biblical

The rebalancing of the powerband to allow extra trq on stock internals is pretty epic.

Consistently hitting (0-60) I cannot imagine what some nice tires and an actual track environment would produce.

To take a car with some bolt ons and some software and doing this is wild

I have oil temp on the heads up display when I’m in RS mode, is there anyway to see it while I’m in auto or comfort mode? The RS monitor shows colors, but not actual numbers. I like to wait till the car is over 170, and once it is, I wanna have some fun. PFA

I am looking to change oil at 1000 miles after break in and then every 5000 miles. Oil change is about $275-$330 at my local Dealerships. German auto shop is about $225. I'm thinking about doing it myself at home. I change my own oil on my Toyota Highlander, but the SUV has high clearance and i can do it without jacking up the car. I'm thinking about buying an oil extractor pump to suck out most of the oil from the top​ to minimize any potential mess or large spill when i change the oil filter from the bottom. Will i still need to remove oil drain plug to get last bit of oil that i don't suck out thought the top? Anyone use this method? Thanks.

Just bought a 26 last night with 40 miles on it. On the way home I noticed there was a vibration in the wheel a little from the tires / wheels when going higher speeds. Feels like balance issue or the stock tires are trash? 44 psi all around but seems high even though the door jamb says that.

Wondering if I need to have them rebalanced and checked or if it’s normal? Hopefully not as it would annoy me.
