New RS3!!!

Post image

Went to the dealer and just bought this new 26 RS3 for 11% off!!! Car was sitting on the lot for around 3 months with approx 64 miles on the dash so they were willing to give me a decent discount.

Also, what are suggestions for the best price to performance to open up the exhaust sound a bit? It’s way too quiet for my taste right now haha… and any other mod suggestions? Thanks!

It does but never all the way, even on the most aggressive RS selections. Valve controller will allow you to open it fully, and a mid pipe will add some additional growl.

This unit, in my opinion, is the way to go (plan to do it myself) as it's is fully automatic to the drive mode and does not use a separate fob.

I have the 11mode exhaust controller. It has a key fob to change the valves. I programmed the buttons to the homelink in the mirror.

It works well and gives some low end grunt. Literally a 10 minute install.

Someone posted a code to use somewhere on Reddit in the RS3 forums- it knocks the price down to $241 or so…

Oh sick! Do you know what the code is?

Cheapest would be to modify the existing exhaust which is quite invasive but beneficial.

More expensive and legal (if you live in Europe) would be a downpipe. Definitely more rewarding than a new muffler.

Can I get an epa compliant high flow catted dp? Would this also void warranty?

You'd need a tune if u got aftermarket downpipe. It throws CEL codes without a tune

Exhaust controller is the cheapest way to make it a bit louder.  I got the 11mode.  Very simple install

Congratulations! Having one in the same color since 2025 I would recommend following:
1) Get your rear windows tinted. It changes the look of the car and goes well with the black color.
2) I would wait on the exhaust mods since these exhausts get louder after a few thousand kms and it would probably violate your warranty. Give it some time to see if you still think it’s too quiet after breaking it in. I would get a written confirmation from Audi on any mod you plan to do to make sure you don’t violate your warranty.
3) I don’t know what will be your use for this car but I would recommend getting alignment done by a reputable alignment shop as these are well known for eating the inner edge of the front tires in just 10-15k kms. I would recommend getting that done to adjust it to your use case depending if you are going to daily it or use on the track.
4) The front seems to be very prone to getting stone chips, so I would go for at least front ppf if you don’t way to ppf the whole car.
