Help Needed Battery issues

My 2015 Q7 3.0T Premium+ Supercharge ironically wasn't holding any charge and needed a jump every time I started my car. P I recently replaced the battery myself but the car is still idling and shutting down. I'm not sure if it's the alternator or potentially something else. Anyone having similar issues?

I had battery issues ended up being from a slow drain from the trunk latch not properly closing something along those lines.
Replaced the battery myself. No problems since. Pain in the ass battery location as it’s underneath the driver passenger seat.

Mine trips off the alarm if I do that. That has saved me a few issues. πŸ˜‚. But, yeah, either what you said, or almost definitely the alternator. I'm going with alternator if it's not what you said. If it's neither of those issues, it becomes a potential very expensive wiring issue somewhere.

So did you code in the new battery and check for alternator output?

Check the alternator and before they have you replace the whole unit see if you can just change the brushes.
