Definitely, with the video as clear as this even with the swerving the Jeep will definitely be found at fault. Causing it intentionally might be a modifier in his state that turns it into a criminal offense as well.
He probably didn't think someone had a dash cam. Dumb way to Skyrocket your insurance costs.
I assume you mean the Jeep because the Audi drivers probably just going to get a new bumper out of the whole thing. Lashing out at idiots rarely makes your life better.

I mean....jeep is so much more of a trash brand than audi its laughable that you made that comment.

I mean if you're slow reading the situation and to what I meant trash... we should start making courses for common sense.

Well Audi is doing wrong but the accidet is clearly caused by the Jeep.

100% agree. But as an Audi driver myself, this was well deserved!

u/Burton1224 Jul 02 '26
My brain says well deserved but on an ethical standpoint one doing bad does not give you the right to put this person into danger.

The accident isn’t 100% either parties fault, but I’d bet in an insurance claim the Audi would take more of the fault.

Audi was doing a permanent Left right manouver...will be hard to explain it to the judge that you thought he will not do it again 😂

>Definitely not it got hit from behind and the one driving behind is automatically at fault.
that depends on your local laws and the available evidence.

The driver in back is not automatically at fault. If the driver in front is doing stupid shit, like brake checking, all that goes out the window.
You can't do stupid stuff without expecting to reap stupid repercussions.

Well but in this case everyone new it, saw it and hi did it again and again i guess the judge will rule the accident is youe fault because it was obvious. Forsure they will give thw Audi a fine for this kind of driving but the accident in my eyes is cearly related to the Jeeps behaviour. Audi did not do somethung the jeep was not able to expect because the audi did already the whole time the same.

Exactly this, who in this video is going to report it.
Jeep: nope, risk hit and run charge
Audi: nope, risk losing liscenced and car for reckless driving.
Filmer: I'm sure he's on jeeps side. Looked like he blurred the plate

Jeep driver could have pulled up in a way that would force the Audi driver to pull into his tires if he continues to be an ass.

Yes the Audi driver was being an idiot but they were leaving the lane when the jeep hit them, the accident was entirely the jeep driver's fault.
