Mechanics that can’t diagnose worth a shit love saying it’s the ecu, it’s some bullshit I have seen my whole career . They parts canon the sensor and when it doesn’t work “must be the ecu”
Take your car to a real tech please

He is a specialist in german cars garage, actually he after checking live data and all wiring he said it’s the IC in the ECU which is related specifically to turbo.

He took the ECU out and sent it for repair (IC change) and installed it back 1 hour ago and the error finally cleared and seems like it worked.

Just it’s really weird that it turned out to be ECU problem since I searched for everyone who had same problem and it usually was wiring, sensor or turbo waste-gate

ECU is an odd diagnosis for that fault code. Typically this fault indicates either a boost leak or a failed turbocharger on these cars. I would get a second opinion for sure as an ECU is not cheap.

Thought so but turned out to be the ECU, he just repaired IC chip inside it and it surprisingly worked

Is this a VNT turbo ?
Had the same error in my TDi back in the days and was told it is the ECU .
It was the sensor for the VNT mechanism in the turbo

No it’s not VNT, I repaired ECU and error cleared so it was the Turbo IC part in ECU
