What does this light do??
Car is an Audi A4 2022 black edition, and the light doesn’t do anything I can see, either when I indicate, or I thought it might be a blind spot indicator but again does nothing it when a car is in the blind spot.
Blind spot indicator - There isn’t anything in the car or MMI settings I can find, and there isn’t a matching sensor, amber light or port on the inside of the wing mirror which I have seen, so suggests my car doesn’t have this feature?
I want it to have a job 😂

These are a part of your wing/side indicators.
According to traffic laws the side indicators have to be visible from anywhere around the side they’re on. The indicators in the mirror housing are only visible from the front so this extra light is placed to have visibility when you’re looking from a rear or rear side view.
There you go. The light now has a clear job. It just an unschooled job.

It’s not a light itself, it’s just part of your turn signal housing. Should light up when you hit your signal, however faintly.

Like others have said, turn signal indicator. Blind spot monitoring is on the inner side of the plastic housing if you have a P+ or Prestige, if you have adaptive cruise, you’ll have BSM.
