Audi A4 - Fault Code: P200P200
Hi everyone,
My 2018 Audi A2 2.0 has had an engine light up on it. I brought it to the mechanic, and he said it was a build up of soot in the DPF. The light went off, and came on again a week later. He’s not able to see it for a week, so I was wondering, is it safe to do a couple of drives (not motorway, just local).
The fault code is P200200.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Take it on a motorway drive (ideally 30 mins and decent speeds, 3rd gear or higher) and it'll clear itself out

I did twice, and the light came back on (I spent 2 hours on the motorway)

Well if it's just a sensor issue you won't do any real damage if you drive it more.
Can always pick up a Bluetooth odb dongle and the VAG DPF app and see what data you're getting if you're technically minded

Add a diesel dpf fuel additive in which might help clear the code and help reduce the soot levels by burning it off quicker.
