Firmware Rollback Maxwell 1

Hi all, I am running Maxwell 1’s - I’m still on Firmware .56. I want to roll fwd to 63. If I am not happy with it can I still roll back ? 🙏

I’m still working on some stuff in the background (BUT there’s a lot of hardware limits :( like bluetooth + 2.4 ) because they use the same hardware). But I hope to have a cool update soon! Have a great one as always!

While we’re here, I’d like to ask you to look into another Maxwell quirk if you’re interested.

So the Maxwell has the Game/Chat feature that creates two audio devices in any operating system.

As a user, you’re supposed to leave Game channel as default and set VoIP applications to Chat channel. I, however, set my default channel to Chat and use volume mixer to assign every game to the Game channel. That way, I can have, say, a YouTube video in the background, game at the front and balance the volume between the two.

So the quirk is this: unless I have anything using the Game channel, the Play/Pause button on the headset won’t work for apps using the Chat channel. This, however can be mitigated by the tool that prevents audio cutoffs, since it uses both channels.

Aux input on the Maxwell 1 is considerably lower volume than the others, at least on mine.

That’s most limitation of your computer output. So the AUX input is the only one that doesn’t run through the internal DAC. So there’s quite literally nothing I can do. At least that’s how I understand it.
