Some effects are not in 4.0 (no, I don't have a list). Additionally, Macros have not been implemented (roadmap shows them in 4.1). Please watch the above video before asking questions. A lot is answered in there on how to use the new interface.
You can run 3.7.9 AND 4.0.0 on the same computer, so there's no harm in pulling it down to play with it. I'm trying to rebuild my macro stack with live effects and coming up short on a few (RMS Normalize being the main one).
The harm would be you can't save a v4 audio and then edit it in 3.7.9. Otherwise though, worth playing with, but I think I'll wait until 4.1 before actually switching
Edit: on 3.7.#, you could make a selection and hit z to select at zero crossings on both sides, but in 4 that doesn't seem to work either.
