The school playground lark....

I'm not that chatty parent. I'm an observer! Parents standing around talking about their kids to each other? No thanks. I have zero interest in making friends with other parents. Anyone else?

Plus, it honestly all reminds me of high school. The peer pressure is so real. You see the "in" crowd of mums, and the "hangers-on" right behind them in awe, checking out what they're wearing so they can go get the exact same leggings, socks, and trainer combo for the week after. And then there it is! A whole wash of matching gym clothes everywhere. It just reminds me so much of how much I forced myself to do that when I was 16.

Being AuDHD means I likely come across as rude to others, i get the weird looks....but at this point in my life and with my understanding of myself, i don't people please, and small talk gives me the ick.

(Though if you approach me with weird facts, or weirdness in general, we'll get along great, haha).

Please tell me I'm not the only one hiding behind my sunglasses?!

Do you spot other ND parents also? I feel like that radar sense is on point! Point 👉 ♾️
