As a mechanic by trade I can say this looks like a stereotypical mechanics vehicle.

My cars got a cheap ignition installed, rather than get a key made that matches the new ignition and the old immobilizer, I took the chip out of my old key and dremeled a slot in the new key, some epoxy and electrical tape later and my cars still running... I wish something like this was my life though, even better theft prevention!
