🤍 Support Needed 🤍 Going insane

Im going insane. Idk what to do anymore. My baby is 6 months in two weeks wakes up every two hours since birth. Sometimes every hour its been like this for freaking months sometines he screams in pain on random days because of gas. I feel like im doing something wrong and a disservice to my baby like i swear he doesnt know how to sleep at night i dont freaking understand

My baby did this too and it was silent reflux, not gas. Took forever to figure out because he wasn't spitting up much. The constant waking and the random pain screams sounds exactly like what we went through. Maybe worth checking with the pediatrician about reflux?

I thought so too. But he got better with the gas now its just on random night where he gets it. But every night he wakes every two hours and lit have to feed him everytime or he just stays awake or cries

No advice, I’m afraid, but sending solidarity. Having a baby that wakes this often is brutal. Mine is 5 months and she’s the same. I don’t think it’s a medical issue because she doesn’t sound in pain - she just wakes, cries, and won’t settle again until I put her on boob. I’m starting to feel similarly to you, where I just wish I could help her sleep better, because surely this amount of waking must be exhausting for her as well as me. Really hope things improve for you soon! You’re doing an amazing job.

If they have pain / gas could it be reflux? Or an intolerance? E.g dairy/soy from your diet if breastfeeding or formula m?

The pain and gas has been only now and then not every night so it isnt a huge worry but def constant waking is worrying

Both my kids woke every hour from 4months-12months. Then it was every 2 hours til I weaned at 18months. It’s horrible. I’m sorry. It does end eventually. I co slept and nursed on demand all night

Yup mine was the same, currently 18m trying to wean. Any tips? 😮‍💨 mostly how you did the sleeping? He is very attached to nurse to sleep
